Once we’d recovered (a finally wrangled the ponies, like the true cowgirls we believed we were), we’d be up on the South Downs racing through fields, thistle & gorse bush jumping like we had zero fear and even less sense, and galloping through the valley like we were starring in our own slightly chaotic pony film.
Then evening would roll in and we’d swap "adventure athletes" for "performing arts icons"—obsessed with the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera we would choreograph dances, make up songs, and put on shows for a wildly underwhelmed audience (usually any poor suspecting neighbour who happened to cross our path). And somewhere in the middle of that sun-soaked chaos was the annual local horse show—plaiting, polishing, panicking, and swearing we’d be calm next year. We never were.
Eliza, in particular, was pure neon joy—an '80s-loving soul with absolutely no time for dull. And that—directly—is the inspiration for this collection. The POP Collection is my tribute to Eliza’s love of neon and her unapologetic '80s spirit.
